Old Pictures Made New

There is nothing more precious to me than the photos of my childhood.  In fact, at one point in my life I decided that if there was one thing I could save from a fire or disaster, it would be my photos.  I cherish the photos of myself and my family when we were younger, I love remembering how we were.

I recently stumbled upon a photographer that I believe is a kindred spirit.  Irena Werning has created an album full of old photo recreations, where the people in the photo reenact the scene identically, down to the types of clothes and emotions on their faces.

I most definitely want to try this with my sisters!
